Kaylie's August Favorites!

Hey girls!

August Favorites

Sorry for the lack of posts lately--school has made it super hard to juggle everything.  Now that school has officially started for just about everyone, we are going to go on a new Fall schedule where you can expect posts once every Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  We thank you guys so much for understanding and hope you guys are excited for some great posts we have planned!

Now onto the fun stuff!  I know this post is a tad bit late, but I thought you guys would still enjoy seeing some great products that I totally recommend.  Keep reading to find out more!

High waisted shorts
High waisted shorts have been my OBSESSION recently.  They look cute with anything, anytime!  I love pairing them with a flowy top for some contrast and laid back sandals for an everyday look.

Since Covergirl came out with the Olypics 2012 limited edition Lashblast, I knew it was the perfect excuse to finally try this cult favorite!  While it's not my absolute favorite for length, it gives some major volume and is perfect for the bottom lashes as it is SUPER waterproof!  No undereye smudges for me anymore!

ELF Cosmetics powder brush
This powder brush has been an absolute favorite this month because it is SO versatile!  I use it for powder, liquid foundation, blush, highlight, and anything in between!  It's so dense and really applies just about anything nicely!  The $3 price tag doesn't hurt either!

Revlon Age Defying Foundation in Natural Beige
During August I found myself once again reaching for this foundation.  It gives a super luminous and dewy look that was just perfect for summer.  The SPF prevented sunburns from the intense sun and the formula applied and blended really smoothly.

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara
Once again, the Mega Plush has made it to my favorites.  I just find it's so great for natural lashes and I reached for it almost everyday in August.  The formula stays quite nicely and really makes your lashes soft, not crunchy.

Sinful Colors nail polish in Timbleverry
My go-to nail polish color this month was Timbleberry.  It's this great rasberry-pink color that looks great on both the nails and toes!  The formula was great because it required only one coat to be opaque and was super easy to take off as well!  Plus, being only $2 it was a total steal!

Wet 'n' Wild ColorIcon Eye Shadow Trio, Walking on Eggshells 380B
My favorite eye shadow palette of the month was the WNW Walking on Eggshells palette.  The colors are just gorgeous and are really great for a natural look.  I love how pigmented and soft the shadows are, plus it cost only $3!

CoverGirl Smoothers Concealer in Illuminator
This highlighter/concealer I totally found by chance in Harmon's while it was on sale.  It works well as a concealer, but I really like it to highlight the bridge of my nose and my cheekbones.  There's absolutely no glitter so it makes for a really natural-looking highlighter and really adds a luminous feel to your look.  The creamy consistency also makes it great for applying and blending easily.

That's it!  I hope you all enjoyed this post and go check out some of these amazing products!  What were your favorite products for August?  Have you ever tried any of these?  Leave a comment down below!
