OOTD ~ Day at the Outlets

Hello Beauties!

Today I'm heading off to the outlets and a dinner so I decided to write up a quick OOTD.  I love this look for the summer because it's light and simple, yet able to be dressed up and worn to a nice dinner.  After the outlets I'm planning on dining with some of my friends at a delicious Italian restaurant just across the street.  This look is comfortable enough to spend a whole day shopping in, but also posh enough to wear to a fancy restaurant.

Keep reading to find out how I put this outfit together!

The Break Down:

As a basic underneath, I layered this tan cami underneath the other shirt.  It's a great basic that I found at Forever 21 for $2.80!  I love it in comparison to my Abercrombie tank tops because these really hug your body so they are barely visible and don't change the texture of your shirt.

This main shirt is super flowy which I love to tuck underneath my pants or skirt since it is a tad long.  I also picked this up from Forever 21 at an amazing price at $11.00 or so!  The sleeves are absolutely gorgeous and flow out.  However, this shirt is a tad sheer so a cami or bandeau underneath is a necessity.

The star piece to my outfit is my lace shorts.  I absolute LOVE these.  They are the perfect color because sometimes I feel that lace shorts can be too white to the point where the lace is undetectable.  I got these shorts on sale at the Gap!  They were marked down to $20.00 and then I got an additional 40% off during the Memorial Day Sale so I paid around $12.00 which is an amazing deal.  If you can't find these, I've seen some at Forever 21.  Also, I love how these shorts have a belt loop so I can add a skinny colored belt like the one above.  I just picked up this one at Forever 21 for $4.80.

I ADORE these shoes!  It's not showing up on camera too well but they are rose gold with a chrome-like finish.  They are so dressy yet can be worn casually too.  I thought these shoes really paired well with the lace shorts since they are contrasting finishes.  They are Enzo Angiolini and I found them at Marshalls for about $40.00 which is a great deal for their quality.  However, these shoes do get scratched easily so I always have to be careful about tripping!

To accessorize, I decided to go relatively simple by just putting on one necklace because when I'm shopping, bracelets can be a nuisance.  I put on this beautiful necklace from yet again, Forever 21.  I think I got this for about $7-8.  This necklace looks really good on a shirt with no pattern, so I decided to add it to my outfit for a little bit of a dressier touch.

This look is perfect for a day out with friends or family.  I absolutely love the look for the summer with a nice tan to compliment the white.  What are your favorite styles for this season?  Do you have any favorite stores to find staple pieces for the summer?  Leave a comment down below!
