Today I have an exciting post to share with you guys! Eve and I are heading off to the Big Apple tomorrow and can't wait to go! We'll definitely do some good sight seeing, eating, and of COURSE shopping. I can't wait to share our future hauls as we should have a ton to share with you guys since NYC is one of the shopping capitals of the world.
Today I'm super excited to be showing you my travel beauty bag! I picked up this bag from Marshall's recently for around $12.00. It was an amazing deal considering how much I can store! I absolutely love this bag for travel as it can fit a ton, but can fold to take up minimal room in my suitcase.

Top Pocket
In the top pocket that's plastic I like to keep my brushes and tools in there. The plastic keeps the brushes from getting dirty or getting the other products filthy with excess makeup. For my trip I'm bringing my Eco Tools Brush set that has my eyelash comb and my blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and concealer brushes. I've also brought my Elf powder brush that is my go-to foundation brush at the moment. I also have my Elf eyelash curler and a travel pack of Q-Tips in the top pocket.
Middle Hair Care Pocket
For some reason I've forgotten to take a picture of the middle pocket but you can probably see in the picture above that it is netted. Here i keep my two brushes, hair ties, and a mini bottle of hairspray. The small bottle is perfect for a quick trip and has lasted me weeks, despite it's size. I've also brought my Wet Brush (Review coming soon!) and Conair paddle brush. I absolutely LOVE my Wet Brush for getting out tangles and of course, combing my hair when it's wet. I use my paddle brush for mostly styling and doing finishing touches.
Bottom Makeup Bag

The last section is less of a pocket, and more like a separate makeup bag. It velcros onto the rest, making it super easy to travel with and convenient to work with when I need to do my makeup in the hotel room since it unattaches from the whole thing. Reviews on some of these products will be coming up soon!
Inside scoop on the makeup:
For my foundations, my Neutrogena healthy skin is a must-have for a natural, dewy look. With all the New York summer heat, my Physician Formula's powder is essential to blot the sweat.
I feel like I can get a ton of day and night looks out of those two eyeshadow palettes that there is little need to bring more. Also, a must-have is my NYX jumbo eye pencil as it acts as an excellent base to prevent creasing in my shadows.
For bronzer, the only one I really need is Bahama Mama. Since it is matte I can contour, and also sweep it across my face for a more natural look.
My eyeliners are a must have as well. I prefer gel over liquid for the top and use pencil to line the waterline. I brought the blue pencil so that I can add a cute pop of color to the bottom corner of my eye.
I only brought one nail polish which is the one I am currently wearing so that I can do quick touch ups.
For lip products, I brought my rose salve to moisturize and then my lip butter and lip gloss for a touch of color.
For blush I brought my super natural Physician's Formula blush (Full review here) and them a more vibrant NYX cream blush.
For concealers, I chose my Neutrogena cover stick for concealing under eye dark circles and then my Hard Candy Glamoflauge to disguise acne scars (Full review here).
Finally, for mascara I decided to bring my Maybelline One by One for a great everyday look that will last the sweat and humidity of NY and my Maybelline Great Lash LOL for a perfect nighttime dramatic look.
